The Winnebago County Sheriff's Office, along with the Town of Oshkosh Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance, responded about 7:30 p.m. Monday at the end of Hickory Lane in the town of Oshkosh, Sheriff's Lt. The woman was taken to a local hospital, though her injuries were not life-threatening. Dean was born in Green Bay on May 31, 1956, the son of Norval (Tucker) Gander and the late Maynard Krause. He was raised in Oshkosh, and graduated from Oshkosh North. After graduation, he attended NCTI to become a laser technician.

Dean served in the National Guard from 1977-1983. On October 20, 2012, he was united in marriage to Karla Kay Matson in Oshkosh. Dean worked as a truck driver for several companies including Hoffman Transit and Menominee Tribal Enterprises for 25 years. Dean is a member at Zion Lutheran Church in Gresham, where he volunteered. Dean is survived by: his wife, Karla Kay of Bowler; two step-children, Shawn Lee and Rachael Ann; one step-granddaughter, Trinity Gail Kay; his mother, Norval Gander of Oshkosh; one sister, Barb Krause; as well as nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, other relatives and many friends.

He was preceded in death by: his father, Maynard Krause; his step-father, Lester Gander; and one step-brother, Brian Krause. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at Zion Lutheran Church in Gresham with Rev. John C. Eyer officiating. Military rites will be conducted at the church by Gresham American Legion Post 390.

Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Oshkosh. Visitation will be held at Swedberg Funeral Home in Gresham on Friday, June 3, 2016 from 4:00 8:00 pm and again at the church on Saturday from 10:00 am until the time of the service. www. Werner, age 80, passed away May 27, 2016 at his residence. Born May 29, 1935 in Oshkosh, WI, son of Robert M. and Rose Mary (Smith) Werner. Graduated from Oshkosh High School, further education at Oshkosh Wisconsin College. Married Sharon L.

(Pohl) on June 23, 1956 at St. John's Catholic Church, Oshkosh. He was employed with Morgan Doors, later Oshkosh Police Department, from which he retired in 1989 after 28 yrs. He also had his personal Snow Lawn Service. Had served in the Army Reserve.

Survived by wife Sharon, children Lynn M. Werner (Hickey) (Jim), Terri F. Werner, Glenn (Mike) Werner (Wendy), Beth Ann Werner. Numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, aunt, uncle, god-children, and many life long friends. Sister Kathleen Teske, Brothers Richard Werner (Joan), Gene Werner (Sue) Sister-in-laws Joyce Stein-ert, Sandra Werner.

Loved hunting, fishing, and spending time at their cabin "Pine Field Where he enjoyed looking for the "largest buck" with his hunting partner, granddaughter Adysun. Larry's family would like to express a sincere thank you to the staffs of Bethel Home, Gabriel's Villa, and Eden Meadows, for their loving and compassionate care. Steve W. Sponholtz, age 56, of Berlin, passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center with his wife and pastor by his side following an accident at his home. He was born January 24, 1960, in Elgin, IL, the son of James and Donna Sponholtz. He moved to Berlin, WI when he was eight.

Steve was a 1978 graduate of Berlin High School. He attended UW-Oshkosh and Milwaukee Area Technical College. Later in life he went back to UW-Oshkosh and received his teaching degree in Broadfield Social Sciences. He took great pride in his studies, graduating on the Dean's List in 2007. On October 11, 1980, Steve married the love of his life, Cathy Meyer, at Borth United Methodist Church.

They moved to Waupun where Steve worked for Aid Assoc. for Lutherans (now Thrivent Financial) for five years. During this time their son, Eric, was born. In 1986, an opportunity arose to purchase Barbola-Marchant Funeral Home on S. Adams Ave.

in Berlin. Steve loved photography so this began the 22 years of "Sponholtz Photography" at the Adams location. Over those 22 years, Steve photographed many, many families, children, high school seniors, weddings, school and sports pictures. He would also photograph new businesses being built. Whatever he was asked to photograph, he found a way.

After the move back to Berlin in 1986, Steve became a true "Berlin" guy. He quickly became involved in City politics, being elected to the City Council as Alderman. One of his greatest accomplishments that he was so proud of was becoming the Mayor of Berlin. He was elected to two terms from 1997-2001. Steve held many occupations along with his photography studio.

He became a fraud investigator, along with his dad, for Green Lake County. He was elected to the Berlin School Board, a member of Green Lake County Crime Stoppers Board, an assistant basketball coach at Berlin High School, coached Little League baseball, announced Berlin High School football and basketball games for the local radio station, WISS, (even announcing some games with his son) and was a member of the Green Lake Economic Development Board. Currently, Steve was a member and past president of Berlin Kiwanis Club, he MC'd the Walleye for Tomorrow Banquet for the past 15 years, and he was a full supporter of the Berlin Booster Club, helping for the last 20 years to coordinate the Annual Berlin Booster Club Golf Outing. He was a member at Grace English Lutheran Church, serving as past president of the Council, head usher and confirmation mentor. After selling the studio, Steve worked at Mascoutin Country Club mowing the golf course.

He loved getting up and being out in the serenity of the course where he enjoyed the outdoors and could just ola Aiifa.Ba.rb think. He was a great golfer too and always enjoyed whenever he had a chance to play a round. Steve became a financial advisor for 1st National Bank in Berlin for seven years. He loved all the bank employees and his customers. His current place of employment was at Wal-Mart in Berlin as an assistant manager.

Steve loved his job there and enjoyed seeing, talking with and helping anyone in any way that he could. Steve loved his family immensely. He is survived by his wife, Cathy; his son, Eric (Heather) Sponholtz; 6-month old grandson, Connor; his mother, Donna Sponholtz; sisters, Jamie (Tom) Stobbe, Jill (Marty) Weiske; mother-in-law, Esther Meyer; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dean (Kerri) Meyer, Cindy (Dave) Matthias, Coreen (Chris) Jorgensen, and Carleen (Craig) Rohde; nieces and nephews, Ryan (Stacie) Stobbe, Lind-sey (Josh) Beaman, Evan Weiske, Nora Weiske, Brad Meyer, Ann (Joe) Trapp, Noralynn Meyer, Brian (Kelly) Matthias, Jeremy (Alexandria) Matthias, Laura (Matt) Hohl, Devin, Jenna and Riley Matthias, Courtney (Matt) Mathia, Chelsey Jorgensen, Clint Jorgensen and Alyssa, Carter and Camdyn Rohde. He is further survived by his closest friends and buddies, Dale and Judy Albrandt and Steve and Susan Dyer; great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, James, on September 2, 2011 and his father-in-law, Ellsworth Meyer.

Steve adored his entire family, his friends and neighbors and his community. He always had a kind word for everyone he came in contact with. Visitation for Steve will be held on Friday, June 3, from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Grace English Lutheran Church in Berlin.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. in the gymnasium at Berlin High School. Visitation Saturday will precede the service from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the school, with Rev.

Scott Piper officiating. Interment will follow the service at Oakwood Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Barbola Funeral Chapel of Berlin. A memorial has been established. Online condolences may be sent to the family at barbolafc yahoo.com.

Cathy runei-al Chapel On May 30, 2016 William Kenneth "Bill" Kinyon peacefully left his earthly home and took the stairway to heaven to seek his heavenly home after a long courageous battle with cancer. He took that first step after gently releasing the loving hands of his children, Shannon and Nick and his wife, Carol.

Bill was born June 12, 1948 in Fond du Lac, WI to Donald and Gladys (Garb) Kinyon. Bill grew up in the rural community of Eldorado and attended Rosendale High School, graduating in 1966. Immediately following graduation, Bill joined the United States Army, serving from 1966 to 1969. His military years were spent in Korea and Thailand. Upon returning from the military Bill met Janice "Jan" Bahr.

They were married May 6, 1972 in Fond du Lac. They built a home in the Rosendale area where they raised their two children, Shannon and Nick. It was also the place after 22 years of marriage on November 4, 1994 that Jan received her angel wings. Bill was employed as a heavy equipment operator with Michels Pipeline, Courtney Plummer, 4X and Rann Construction, retiring in 2011. On September 2, 2006 Bill married Carol (Rozek-Christie) in the town of Byron.

Together along with their children they formed a blended family that followed Bill's lead about caring for and loving each other. Many family events took place including vacations at Oneida Lake creating memories that will live on. Bill loved hunting, fishing, spending time at the "coop" or just being outdoors. He loved negotiating for the best deal and playing practical jokes. He had a soft spot for his loved ones, especially his grandchildren.

Bill found peace in his faith and trusted in God's plan. Bill is survived by his daughter, Shannon (Kurt) Sadowska; his son, Nicholas "Nick" (Rose); his wife, Carol; her sons, Todd (Dy-ane) Christie and Troy Krueger, Lawrence Albert Krueger, 92, Oshkosh, passed away Saturday, May 28, 2016, with his family by his side. He was born March 9, 1924, in Oshkosh, son of Paul and Frieda (Vandersee) Krueger. Larry served our country as a U.S. Navy veteran during WWII, in the South Pacific.

He married Leona Bruss on January 25, 1947, in Winneconne, and she preceded him in death on April 28, 1996. Larry was employed by the Oshkosh Fire Department as a Captain until his retirement in 1979. He also worked part-time as a bee keeper, as well as an auto mechanic with Mueller Chrysler Plymouth. Larry's hobbies included fishing, hunting, and rooting for the Packers. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Oshkosh, where he previously served on the church council.

Larry is survived by his children: Thomas (Jeanne) Krueger, Gail (David) Christman, Barbara (Gregory) Kargus, and Julie (James) Martin; a son-in-law, Ricardo (Shelly) Trewyn; grandchildren: Kristy Krueger, Sarah (special friend Dave Friedauer) Krueger, Anna (Steve) Mathison, Brian Christman, Katie (Chris Parck) Christman, Kimberly (Steve) Myers, Terri (Jonathan) Marx, Jay Trewyn, Beth (Brent) Cloutier, and Chad Martin; great grandchildren: Kyle Mathison, Kaylee Martin, Evelyn Marx, Gavin Cloutier, James and Leona Myers, and baby boy Marx due any day; a sister, Lorraine Wachholz; sisters-in-law: Joanne Krueger and June (Richard) Kleinschmidt; brothers-in-law: Harold Haak, Dallas Krueger, Donald Eichsteadt, and several nieces and nephews. He was also preceded (Angie) Christie; grandchildren, Alayna and Ryan Sadowska; William Kinyon; Lauren and Braden Christie; and Chace Christie. He is also survived by his brother, Robert (Mary); sisters-in-law, Susan (Jeff) Rock and Karen (Gary) Babler; brothers-in-law, Steve Bahr, James (Kathy) Rozek and Steve (Denise) Rozek; his mother-in-law, Delores Rozek; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bill is further survived by many dear friends and neighbors. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Jan and her parents, LeRoy and Marianne Bahr; Carol's father, Gilbert Rozek; and a sister-in-law, Lois Bahr.

Visitation for Bill will be held Thursday, June 2, 2016 from 4:00 PM 8:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 Park Ave. in Fond du Lac. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 AM on Friday, June 3, 2016 at St. Stephens Lutheran Church in Rog-ersville with Rev. Kimberly Stowell officiating.

A visitation will be held at the church, beginning at 9:00 AM and continuing until the time of the service. Burial will follow in Rogersville Cemetery with military honors presented by the American Legion, Trier-Puddy Post 75.
