Forsythe, 44, of 814 Coolidge Neenah; and Patricia S. Travsch, 47, and Laura J. Travsch, 12, both of Arlington Heights, 111. The woman and girl were passengers in a car driven by Lawrence F. Travsch, 47, Arlington Heights, which struck the rear of a car driven by Forsythe.

Forsythe's car was forced by the initial impact into a car driven by Anthony L. McGee, 26, of 620 Jefferson Neenah. McGee wasn't hurt in the mishap, authorities said. McGee and Forsythe were driving slow-moving cars around a construction barricade. Travsch pulled his car behind them in the left lane when his car struck Forsythe's car in the rear, deputies said.

A Monday night mishap in Oshkosh injured Diane R. Bartel, 24, of 41 W. South Park Oshkosh, and Ju 28 nesses said, remarked, "Watch this, I'm going to get a hippy," and he fired one single shot from the rifle which knocked a six-pack of beer from the hands of Kenneth Brietzke. No one was hurt in the incident, but Lee remained in jail pending the filing of formal chargges. Witnesses told investigating deputies that Lee had categorized the Brietzkes as hippies the same type of "hippies" blamed by Lee for stealing items from his car in earlier incidents.

Deputies in the reports said Lee expressed pride at his marksmanship and noted to deputies how beautifully the beer splattered onto the wall in his tavern after the bullet had penetrated one single can of the six-pack. Workshop Wednesday The Oshkosh Area Board of Education will have a workshop meeting and a special meeting Wednesday night at the Administration Center. The special meeting, to consider a resolution to purchase driver education simulators, will be held after the workshop, which begins at 7:30 p.m. The driver education resolution was laid over at the board's May 19 business meeting. No agenda has been announced for the workshop.

Big Brothers are given bingo permit The Big Brothers of the Fox Valley Region have recently been issued a Bingo permit by the state Bingo association. Organized bingo games will begin at 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 8, at Josef's Supper Club south of Oshkosh at Highways 45 and 175. The bingo permit is valid for 48 games, with games being scheduled for every second and fourth Tuesday of the month during the summer. The incident, which began about 10:30 p.m. at the Cellar Bar, was the culmination of a disagreement between Lawrence E. Lee, 49, Larsen, and two brothers, identified by reports as Kenneth E. Brietzke, 22, of 8331 Pine Lane, Larsen, and Walter A. Brietzke, 28, of 1652 Hickory Larsen.

Witnesses in the tavern said that Lee left the tavern area after he had gotten into an argument with the Brietzke brothers. Lee walked to a storage area and returned carrying a loaded rifle. Both Retzlaff, whose car was traveling north on the street, and Ms. Bartel said they were traveling with green traffic lights. Peter J. Krueger, 18, of 1036 Gregory Neenah, received a cut elbow when his car left Tullar Road in the Town of Neenah Monday night and rolled over in the ditch.

Krueger, taken to Theda Clark Memorial Hospital by Neenah fire department ambulance, was driving south on the road when his car went out of control on a wet, slippery road surface, deputies said. Weishoff VAN DYNE Elmer A. Weishoff, 76. of Rt. 1, Van Dyne, formerly of Rosendale, died at 12:35 p.m. Saturday at St.

Agnes Hospital, Fond du Lac, after a six month illness. Born Dec. 20, 1899, in West Rosendale he married Beatrice Patt June 29, 1929. She preceded him in death Dec. 2, 1973.

Mr. Weishoff had operated a tavern in Rosendale for 12 years He retired from that business in 1950 and moved to Van Dyne. Then he was employed at Foster Latham Lumber Co. in Oshkosh until 1962 when he retired. He was a member of Zion Evangelical Lutheran Church.

Surviving is a daughter, Mrs. Wayne (Barbara) Stears, Rt. 1, Van Dyne and a grandchild. Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. today at Candlish Funeral Chapel, Fond du Lac, and from 11 a.m.

Robert Heagle WINNECONNE Mrs. Robert (Evelyn Jean) Heagle, 38, of 513 Old Orchard Road, died unexpectedly Sunday morning at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh. She was born July 27, 1937, in Winneconne, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Glen Smith, and attended Winneconne schools.

She was married to Robert Heagle on April 4. 1959, in Winneconne. They have resided in Winneconne since 1968. Mrs. Heagle was a member of First Baptist Church, Winneconne, and its Young Women's Missionary Society, was on the Board of Christian Education of the church, and was a member of the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary of Oshkosh.

Surviving are her widower; three daughters, Shelley, Cheryl and Sheri, all at home; her parents, Winneconne; one brother, Kenneth Smith, Winneconne; two sisters, Mrs. Richard (Judy) Lenz, Omro, and Mrs. Robert (Jane) Mertz, Neenah; and maternal grandfather, Edward Bradley, Omro. Services will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at First Baptist Church, the Rev.

Morris, died today at her daughter's home. Funeral arrangements arc pending at Ayars Funeral Home, Wautoma. Theodore Darnick BERLIN Theodore Darnick, 87, of 144 S. Adams Berlin, died Monday morning at Mercy Medical Center in Oshkosh. He had been ill for the past year.

Born Oct. 30, 1888, in Princeton, he married Agnes Maslowski April 15, 1913. at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Princeton. Darnick had farmed in the Berlin area.

Survivors include his widow; one daughter, Mrs. Leone Zanto, North Fond du Lac; four sons, Felecian, Berlin, and Francis, George and Leonard, all of Green Lake; one brother, Stanish Darnick, Princeton; one sister, Mrs. Maggie Resheske, Princeton; 14 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 10:45 a.m. at Wiecki Funeral Home and at 11 a.m.

where a rosary will be said at 7 p.m. Miss Lois J. Mackie ROSENDALE-Miss Lois J. Mackie, 80, of Deer Drive, died Monday at 3 p.m. at Park View Nursing Home, Ri-pon.

She had been ill two years. She was born in Pickett on Aug. 23, 1895, daughter of Robert and Margaret Mackie. Miss Mackie attended school in Pickett and attended Elo Methodist Church, moving to Oshkosh with her parents. She graduated from Oshkosh High School, and was a member of Plymouth Congregational Church and its Elixir Circle.

Surviving is one sister, Mrs. Charles (Alice) Peterson, Rosendale. Services will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at Seefeld Church Avenue Chapel, with the Rev. Dale Jennings, of Elo Methodist Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Lake View Memorial Park, Oshkosh. Friends may call at the Church Avenue Chapel Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. A memorial has been established to the Heart Fund. Mrs. James D.

Helf APPLETON Mrs. James D. (Dorothy Searlc) Helf, 50, of 2512 N. Drew died Sunday afternoon following an extended illness. She was born Oct.

25, 1925, in Ripon, and graduated from Ripon College in 1947. Prior to moving to Appleton 10 years ago, she had lived in Ravenna, Ohio, for 16 years. Survivors are the widower, four sons, including Kim and Michael, students at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Wichmann Funeral Home, with Dr.

John Edward Fcli-ble officiating. Interment will be in Hillside Cemetery, Ripon. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. today, and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Mrs. Leo C. Sturm APPLETON Mrs. Leo C. (Betty Rossmeissl) Sturm, 51, of 1902 S.

Bouten died Monday night after a long illness. An Appleton resident all her life, she was born in the city Jan. 4, 1925. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors are the widower; three daughters; two sons, including Stephen of Oshkosh; her father; two sisters; one brother, and one grandchild.

Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with burial in St. Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brettschneider-Trettin Funeral Home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and on Thursday from 8:30 a.m.

A resident of Appleton most of her life, she was born in Chicago March 24, 1893. She was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary. She is survived by two daughters, two sons, three sisters, including Mrs. Ray Schultz of Menasha, 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Dr.

John Edward Felible will officiate at services at the Wichmann Funeral Home at 2 p.m. Wednesday, with interment following in Highland Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today, and on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until the hour of service.

Mrs Alfred Krueger, 811. of 715 S. Adams Green Bay, died Saturday evening in a Green Bay hospitaj. She was born 1(1. 1895.

Surviving are her widower; two daughters. Miss Margaret Sabott, Oshkosh, and Mrs. Mildred Bostwick, Torrance, two sons, Lawrence, Oshkosh, and Gordon. Mesa. three grandchildren and six greatgrandchildren.

Mann, 8(1, of 122(1 W. Sixth died Sunday at 8:30 p.m. at his home. He had been ill six months. He was born in Chicago on Sept.

4, 1895, son of George and Emma Mann, and was married in Oshkosh on May 22, 1922, to Laura Franzen, who preceded him in death on Feb. 16 of this year. Mr. Mann had been an engineer for Dormeyer Industries. He attended Marquette University Law School, and graduated from University nf Wisconsin-Madison in 1924.

He resided in Milwaukee 35 years, returning to Oshkosh in lflfil. He served with the Army during World War I. He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Masonic Lodge 27. Surviving are one son, Dr. George A.

Mann, Minneapolis; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Services will be held Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, with the Rev. Thomas Lcannah officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery-Friends may call at Marquardt Funeral Home today from p.m.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Margaret Burton and Mrs. Doris Whitcomb, both of Margate, one brother, Frank, Menasha; one sister, Mrs. Christine Lewis, Fond du Lac, two grandchildren and two great-: grandchildren. His wife, Cecelia, preceded him in death in Sept.

Asmus NEENAH Mrs. Anna B. Asmus, 94, Parkview Health Center, died Monday afternoon. She was born in Germany April 15, 1882, and was a member of First Presbyterian Church and a charter member of the Mothers Circle of the church. Surviving are two daughters, Mrs.

Edward (Lazetta) Laus of Menasha and Mrs. Howard (June) Schmidt of Neenah; one son, Fritz, Neenah; six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. The Rev. John E. Bouquet, DD, will officiate at serv-; ices at 2 p.m.

Beckman MENASHA Herman A. Beckman, 80, of 866 Broad died this morning at Theda Clark Hospital. Born in Menasha May 8. 1896, he had lived in the city all his life. He had retired as an employe of the Men-; asha Corp.

in 1959. An Army veteran of World War he was a member of World War Barracks of Menasha and the Germania Society. He is survived by one stepson, Harold Witt, Menasha; one brother, Eric Beckman, Menasha; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church at 2 p.m. Thursday, with the Rev.

this morning at Mercy Medical Center, Oshkosh. Arrangements are pending at Plansky Funeral Home, Omro. Two Oshkosh. police officers received minor injuries Monday afternoon when their car, speeding under emergency conditions to Westhav-en on a fight call, became involved in an accident. The officers' squad car, which had siren and red lights operating, collided with a car driven by Loren K.

Hazelwood, 31, of 150 High Oshkosh. Hazelwood wasn't able to stop the car in time to avoid the mishap, which occurred at 5:44 p.m. on Ohio Street at West Sixth Avenue, police said. Injured and transported to Mercy Medical Center by squad car were Barry L. Busby, 29, of 615 Boyd and Phillip L.

Charley, 30, of 1743 Doty both of Oshkosh. Busby was driving the squad and the collision occurred as both cars entered the intersection. Busby told other officers he had slowed his car almost to a stop as he edged through a red light on the street, police said. Hazelwood wasn't hurt and both officers were released after treatment, a hospital official said today. In other mishaps on a rela- Harvey E.

Riska APPLETON Harvey E. Riska, 72, formerly of Appleton died Sunday afternoon. He was born in Manawa March 4, 1904, and had retired as a lineman after 40 years of employment with the Wisconsin Telephone Co. He is survived by two daughters, two sons, including Lyle Riska of Menasha; one brother, two sisters, including Mrs. Francis LeBeau of Menasha, and 17 grandchildren.

His wife, Martha (Matti) Riska, preceded him in death Feb. 11, 1959. Services will be conucted by the Rev. James C. Ply-mire at 2 p.m.

Thursday at the Wichmann Funeral Home. Interment will take place in Union Cemetery, Bloomfield. Friends may call at the funeral home from 4 to 9 p.m. Wednesday, and on Thursday from 8 a.m. until time of service.

Robert M. Lolcken APPLETON Robert M. Lokken, 54, of 4601 E. Wisconsin Road, died at 6:55 a.m. today after an extended illness.

He was born Aug. 23, 1921, in Superior, and came to Appleton at the age of 15. He had been a buyer for the Schiedermayer Hardware Co. for 24 years and more recently was employed by Look's Tru-Value Hardware. He was an Army veteran of World War II, serving in the European Theater.

Survivors are the widow, June Luedtke Lokken; and one sister. Services will be conducted by the Rev. George E. Thronson at the Wichmann Funeral Home at 11 a.m. Thursday.
