They were married June 7, 1946 in Omaha, Nebraska and have spent their entire married life in Oshkosh. Marge and Jerry raised four sons: Robert (Susan) Hansen of Pepperell, MA, Ronald (Amy) Hansen of Munich, Germany, Randall Hansen of Oshkosh and Richard (Mary) Hansen of Oshkosh. They, also, have four grandchildren: Garrick Hansen of Apopka, FL, Allison Hansen of Lindenhurst, IL, Erik Hansen and Elsa Hansen both of Oshkosh.

Marge and Jerry have been very active within the community with both volunteering at the Oshkosh Boys and Girls club for many years for which they received the "Gold Medallion Award" for outstanding volunteerism. For many years, Marge enjoyed volunteering at the Parkview Health Center and the Special Olympics. Both volunteered at the BAA conventions and Jerry is still an active volunteer at the EAA museum. They met in 1 943 in Omaha, Nebraska when Jerry was in the Army Air Force and Marge worked at the Glenn Martin Bomber Plant. During WWII, Jerry was stationed near Taranto, Italy.

They married in 1946. Jerry retired after 40 years as an electrical contractor with Hansen Electric, Inc. Both have enjoyed many years together traveling, refinishing antiques, gardening, volunteering in the community and just being with their family. Gertrude Richard Voelkel Gertrude (Gert) Voelkel (Sherbinow) and Richard (Dick) Voelkel celebrated their 50 years of marriage on May 29. The couple was married in 1956 at St.

Vincent's Church in Oshkosh by Father Schorn. Theirattendants were a Dan Voelkel, Tom Sherbinow, Russ Much, Glen Francis, Carol Paulick, and Gert Aunt Emmajean. The couple rejoiced with a family dinner. Children of the couple are Richard (Cindy) Voelkel of Oshkosh, and Mary, also of Oshkosh. The couple has two grandchildren, Caitlyn and Amber.

Dick worked at Oshkosh Truck Corporation and retired in 1992. Gert was a RN for the state at the Wisconsin Resource Center in Oshkosh. She retired in 1997. The couple belongs to the Oshkosh Elks Club and enjoys spending time with family and friends. Gilbert Sharon Werner -if-1 Gilbert and Sharon (Pohl) Werner of Oshkosh celebrated their 50th anni- versary on June 23.

They were married in 1956 at St. Johns Catholic Church in Oshkosh. Reverend Walter Williams officiated the ceremony. Several attendants included Joyce (Pohl) Steinert, Carol (Werner) Jacobs, Sonja (Wahlgren) Barlow, Charles Steinert, Robert Werner Jr. (deceased), Donald Youngwirth.

Richard Werner and John Feldner were the ushers. They celebrated their anniversary with a family dinner at Charcoal Pit II. Their children are Lynn (Jim) Hickey, Terri Werner, Glenn (Wendy) Werner and Beth Ann Werner. Their grandchildren are James, Monica, Tera, Dylan and Adysun. Their step grandchildren are Joe and Jennifer.

Their great grandchildren are Jennifer, I 1 I Anthony, Samantha and Alan. Step great grandchildren are Rachelle, Evan and Noah. Sharon had various employments-last was Oshkosh School Food Service. Gilbert retired from the Oshkosh Police Department. luj 4uj cmcn Abby Selenka Russell O'Neil Abby J.

Selenka and Russell A. O'Neil are pleased to announce their engagement. They are planning a July 4, 2006 wedding in Las Vegas, Nevada. The brides parents are Mary and Greg Selenka of Oshkosh. The groom's parents are Shirley and Stephen O'Neil of Oshkosh.

Abby was an Oshkosh West High School graduate and is employed full-time at Oshkosh Truck Corp. Russell is also a graduate from Oshkosh West High School and currently works at Andrew Homes Inc. in Oshkosh. a Don ToAnn Lewis Don and JoAnn Lewis celebrated 50 years of marriage with an open house at the American Legion Clubhouse in Oshkosh on Sunday afternoon, June 25, 2006. JoAnn Barbara Weber and Donald Evan Lewis were married on June 23, 1956, at Peace Lutheran Church, with the Rev.

I. Harold Kuester officiating. The reception following the ceremony was at the Legion Clubhouse. Among their attendants who helped them celebrate their Golden Anniversary were 4 9 bridesmaid Dons Boeshaar Martin, groomsman Larry Easton and usher Doug Arent. Also at the celebration were their children, Kathleen (Dean) Poole of Clintonville, Evan (Ellen) Lewis of Iron Ridge, Dr.

Alan (Kim) Lewis of Watertown, James (Yevette) Lewis of Catawba, and Todd (Rhianan) Lewis-Smith of North Prairie, plus grandchildren Sean (Lena) Bigonia Willow; Eric and Elizabeth Kay Lewis; Elizabeth Ann and great-grandso Joshua, Shelby and Macy Lewis; and Luke and Quentin and Rachel Lewis Lewis-Smith. in. in. i i I.
